CAT Alliance: a network of expert, local environmental consultancies
CAT Alliance is an international environmental business consultancy network, leading global transactions and other corporate environmental services from Europe. CAT Alliance is jointly owned by three quality environmental consultancies: TAUW Group, Geosyntec (USA, UK) and COWI (DK). One of the core businesses of the CAT Alliance has always been transaction due diligence, specifically from the perspective of identifying business risk and opportunities in technical, financial and social terms (Environmental, Social and Governance).
The CAT Alliance is also a vehicle for accessing a broader range of environmental expertise from within all three parent companies and through our partner network. The active exchange of information enables us to support our multinational clients in both traditional environmental areas as well as with emerging issues in different parts of the world. The three founding members each have registered offices across much of Europe. The combined resource base (network of partners and subsidiaries) includes more than 50 countries and can be accessed through a single contract with one of the three alliance partners. The CAT model is, therefore, a network of expert local environmental consultancies that are considered to be the best service providers within the countries they operate in.
