The sewage and drinking water treatment sectors urgently need new improved technologies. Current plants are often outdated and no longer meet current and future requirements. Water-treatment plants are required to handle high peak loads mitigated by climate change, to remove unwanted micro-pollutants coming from agriculture, industry and from drug and medicine use. The plants must also comply with new, stricter WFD legislation and meet the ambitious task ahead in terms of energy transition and sustainability.
The Water Purification Alliance (Water Zuiveringen Alliantie, WZA) responds to these developments in a unique way. WZA is a sustainable, permanent partnership consisting of Mobilis, Croonwolter&dros, RWB, TAUW and Sweco. As an independent system integrator, we focus on the entire lifecycle of a sewage treatment plant and across the whole spectrum of circular construction: from initiative to demolition and reuse. Best-for-project is always key at the WZA, resulting in shorter lead times and the lowest possible total cost of ownership.
WZA has national coverage and brings knowledge and experience which it combines with a regional customer-oriented approach, by working with local companies.
